{"id":9992,"date":"2024-02-19T17:20:02","date_gmt":"2024-02-20T00:20:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/periodicorealidades.com\/?p=9992"},"modified":"2024-02-19T17:20:04","modified_gmt":"2024-02-20T00:20:04","slug":"comer-mas-de-22-de-proteina-en-la-dieta-diaria-aumenta-el-riesgo-cardiovascular","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/periodicorealidades.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/19\/comer-mas-de-22-de-proteina-en-la-dieta-diaria-aumenta-el-riesgo-cardiovascular\/","title":{"rendered":"Comer m\u00e1s de 22 % de prote\u00edna en la dieta diaria aumenta el riesgo cardiovascular"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ingerir m\u00e1s de un 22 por ciento de prote\u00edna en la dieta diaria aumenta significativamente el riesgo de padecer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ateroesclerosis, una acumulaci\u00f3n de grasa y otras sustancias nocivas en las arterias que puede provocar un accidente cardiovascular, seg\u00fan constata un estudio recogido hoy en la revista Nature Metabolism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los autores, de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Pittsburg, ya demuestran a trav\u00e9s de experimentos con ratones en 2020 que una dieta rica en prote\u00edna, y el consiguiente aumento del amino\u00e1cido leucina, favorece la ateroesclerosis y las lesiones cardiovasculares, y ahora han dado un paso m\u00e1s analizando el efecto en el cuerpo humano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aunque las prote\u00ednas son un nutriente necesario, los investigadores recuerdan que casi una cuarta parte de la poblaci\u00f3n recibe m\u00e1s del 22 por ciento de todas las calor\u00edas diarias solo de prote\u00ednas. De hecho, las dietas ricas en prote\u00ednas son tendencia como m\u00e9todo para perder peso en los pa\u00edses desarrollados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consecuencias para las personas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los cient\u00edficos llevaron a cabo dos experimentos controlados en humanos utilizando cantidades graduadas de ingesta de prote\u00edna en un total de 23 participantes de ambos sexos cuyo<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00edndice de masa corporal estaba clasificado como sobrepeso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En el primer experimento, 14 participantes ingirieron dos comidas l\u00edquidas de 500 kilocalor\u00edas, la primera muy rica en prote\u00ednas y la segunda muy pobre en prote\u00ednas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En el segundo experimento, 9 participantes consumieron en dos ocasiones una comida est\u00e1ndar de 450 kilocalor\u00edas con 16 o 25<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">gramos de prote\u00ednas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los autores tomaron muestras de sangre antes y despu\u00e9s de ambos experimentos a 1 y 3 horas de la ingesta y comprobaron que las prote\u00ednas superiores a 25 gramos por comida aumentan los niveles del amino\u00e1cido leucina en la circulaci\u00f3n, lo que puede afectar a los monocitos y macr\u00f3fagos (c\u00e9lulas que forman parte del sistema inmunitario).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">un experimento de seguimiento con ratones, los autores utilizaron tres dietas equivalentes (alta, moderada y baja en prote\u00ednas) y descubrieron que una ingesta de prote\u00ednas superior al 22 % de sus necesidades energ\u00e9ticas alimentarias tambi\u00e9n aumentaba los niveles de leucina, lo que activa v\u00edas patol\u00f3gicas en el sistema inmune que conducen a la ateroesclerosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repercusiones nutricionales<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nuestro estudio demuestra que aumentar la ingesta de proteinas para mejorar la salud metab\u00f3lica no es una panacea.
